The gold medal of "The Wishing Shelf Book Award" arrived today in the mail from the UK. It is a beautiful little solid medal that is very special as it was awarded by the readers themselves: KIDS. The book was read in middle grade classes in the UK and the children decided which book would be the best. THE CHOCOLATE CLOUDS won as sole gold winner among many other books.
The book is now available in Dutch, German and Norwegian. By the end of the year the translations into Danish, Italian, Japanese and Swedish will be published as well.
