Today, I had the chance to give a reading at a German school in Bad Vilbel, the "Georg-Büchner Gymnasium." For 90 minutes I read from "The Gallery of Wonders" to two middle grade classes. The younger class listened to the German version while the older class had the chance to enjoy the original version in English.
The school published a short article in German about the reading, saying that the time flew by in the blink of an eye and the kids would have loved to continue hearing about the adventures of Holly.
